My experiences with Lupus

This is my first time on this website.  My name is Fay Shorr. I had my first Lupus flare when I was 38. I was officially diagnosed @ age 45.. That was in the "old days" when Lupus wasn't easy to diagnose. I am now 71, facilitate a Lupus Support Group and will communicate with Lupus Patients on this website and help when I can.  I've had good doctors, tried my best to take care of myself and am lucky to still be doing (not Good) but am managing O.K. most of the time. I've had a long history of taking medicines and now am on Prednisone, Cellcept & recently stopped taking Plaquinel after being on it for 22 years. It was starting to affect my eyes. Be well & keep in touch.
